Programs and Activities
We are pleased to offer Youth Ski Programs (Ski Bunnies, Jackrabbits 1, Jackrabbits 2), a Youth Biathlon Program, numerous winter family activities, and ski chalet rental!
Youth Ski Programs
The youth programs happen every second Saturday from 1:30-3:00 pm for as long as there is snow on the ground! We aim to facilitate fun family-centric recreational skiing through instruction and games.
Biathlon Program
Family membership is required for all biathletes. Equipment (skis and rifle) is provided Rifles are issued to parents of the biathletes. Parents must have an FAC and are required to attend practices. Parents must purchase their own ammunition.
Family Activities
More than just skiing! Are you looking for day of snow-filled fun with the family? In addition to the endless ski, snowshoe and dog walking trails, the HRSC offers numerous outdoor activities for all ages!
Ski Chalet Rental
Looking for a picturesque location to host your next event? The Ski Club Chalet is available for private rental to interested parties. The daily rental fee is $300 and includes access to the Ski Club's equipment and trails.
Ski Races
Building on 35 years of PTUBs ski races, we have re-named our local cross-country races in honour of Pat Bobinski. The PABs is an annual weekend event in March open to skiers of all ages and abilities, providing an opportunity for skiers across the NWT to meet, gain race experience, and have a good time!
